Pictures from around the homestead - Mid August

I wanted to share some pictures of Buttercup and Norway and a little bit of what's been going on around here. I introduced you to our cows and how it all came about in the previous post. I'll be happy when the perimeter fence is up and that project is done! Of course, people say there is always fence to be repaired, but we are hoping to pick the right materials the first time to avoid some headaches. It's really just our second line of defense anyway. The cows will still be within their electric netting paddocks and moved around within the perimeter fence.

Enough of that. Here's the fun stuff:

Sweet buttercup came for a head scratch.

Being a good guy.

I let her know we're going shopping for her today to get her some help with the flies and a new harness! She's excited!

Basil being a cat and looking annoyed.

Noah thought her whiskers looked like a guitar. Haha, she didn't like that much

Noah wanted to be in a picture. Isaac is in his car. This is how we roll.
really blurry, but Noah was pretending to be Norway.

Isaac is sleeping right now, so I didn't take any new pics. But this is his think lately.

Been frequenting the library with the kids. I love the library. It is such a good resource. Fence and building books for Joel.

And I got some kids books to read to the boys. I fell in love with this book of poems.

So there you have it.

We are enjoying BBC Wartime Farm on youtube today. Noah and I started them while we waited for Isaac to wake up from his nap. We went to breakfast with Aunty Lissa at the village kitchen today and Isaac ate two whole french toast pieces and conked out in the car on the way home. Precious.

Now we'll be off to the store to check out some fencing and a few cow supplies if all goes well. Till next time!
